Fredessa Figueroa


Fredessa uses Person-Centered Therapy along with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to explore, address, and challenge underlying issues causing distress and maladaptive behavior. As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, her approach to counseling is a holistic perspective (emotional, physical, spiritual, & relational) and she believes that counseling can provide an opportunity to discover and learn about your inherent worth, inner strengths, resources, and your capacity for resilience to help you manage your life and personal choices. Fredessa provides supportive counseling to individuals, teens, families, and groups with issues that include trauma, anxiety, domestic abuse, substance abuse, sexual assault, anger management, depression, conflict-resolution, self-image, stress, and suicide.

Fredessa graduated as a Marriage and Family Counselor from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
