Tina Sweeny

LPC

Tina is a LAPC committed to assisting children to learn how to regulate emotions and behaviors as well as manage stress and disappointment. Tina’s work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, and beliefs about self and others using a cognitive behavioral approach, to include positive mindset strategies.

Tina graduated from the University of Colorado with a psychology/education degree and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Tina has worked as a regular and special education teacher for more than twenty years and a school counselor for five years. Tina stated that it is a pleasure to serve the community in Cherokee County and participate in the growth of the adolescents she counsels.
